Submatrix Selection for Matrices with Orthonormal Columns

This research note studies the Goreinov-Tyrtyshnikov-Zamarashkin conjecture on lower bounds for the smallest singular value of a three-row submatrix of a real three-frame. It gives improved lower bounds and several structured cases while leaving the unrestricted conjecture open.
